Space First was founded in 2015 by Gabriel Pfaffman. Today, we connect with a multitude of audiences on multiple platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
Purpose
We work to spread awareness of the incredible opportunities for personal and communal growth that STEM can bring. We understand that many individuals do not have the resources and ability to access these opportunities, nor to grow their knowledge and interest in the STEM subjects they are passionate about. We are working hard to change this reality for as many children as possible with community outreach such as the Future Voyager Scholarship.
We also spread awareness of the beauty and magnificence of space to a wide audience. Often times, the public's view on space related sciences and space exploration is far outdated, with little awareness of the incredible developments that are occurring in those fields right now. We seek to change that misunderstanding by starting conversations and sharing information about the amazing developments in space science fields.

I am an undergraduate at Columbia University studying Astrophysics. As a long time space lover, I naturally enjoy sharing my passion with others. Further, I understand the mammoth positive impact that inclusion in STEM can have, which I hope to contribute towards.
